MOMMIE & ME:
Ages 1-2: Toddlers and parent or caretaker dance together while focusing on rhythm, movement, music and fun! Learn dance moves for home while developing healthy toddler bodies and coordination. Classes are 30 minutes long.
CREATIVE MOVEMENT 1&2:
Ballet for ages 3-5 years olds.
Focusing on musical awareness, development of locomotor skills, positions of the feet and development of special awareness as well as basic rhythms.
PRE - LEVEL 1&2:
Ballet & Tap for ages 5-7 years old.
A Continuation of Creative Movement 1 & 2 adding balances and locomotor skills with focus of working on weight change and movement on one leg.
A FUN introduction class for ages 5-7 years old.
Working on musical awareness, isolations and basic rhythm skills.
A FUN class for boys ages 5-10 years old.
Working on musical awareness, isolations and basic rhythm skills. Building confidence in boys who love to dance. The focus of this class is to build a solid foundation to execute popular dance moves to original choreography. Warm up includes isolations, hard- hitting exercises and a breakdown of the highly energetic routine to build stamina and increase musicality. No previous experience necessary.
All boys class for ages 5-10 years old.
An all boys class introducing basic tap steps and working basic rhythm and weight changing skills.
Foundation for all dance forms and is mandatory at Absolute Dance.

A dance form or dance that is matched to the rhythms and techniques of high energy Jazz dance music. It is an exploration of style and presentation. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography.
Styles include Matt Mattox and Luigi Techniques.
Is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Two major variations on tap dance exist: rhythmic (jazz) and Broadway Tap.
Broadway tap focuses on dance; it is widely performed in musical theater.
Rhythm tap focuses on musicality, and practitioners consider themselves to be a part of the jazz tradition.
An overview of modern dance techniques, styles and variations. Utilizing the full body and incorporating the use of body imagery in floor work and combinations. Class will be comprised of a technical modern warm up, conditioning, going across the floor to explore fundamentals and center work to practice execution of technique and performance ability.
We teach Horton, and Graham based techniques.
CONTEMPORARY & LYRICAL:
Is a popular form of dance which developed during the middle portion of the twentieth century and has since grown to become to become one of the dominating performance genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world. Borrowing from classical, modern, and jazz styles, it has since come to incorporate elements from many styles of dance.
Is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance.
Learn combinations from Broadway shows along with acting coaching with our instructors.
Dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as a part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping. No previous experience necessary.
